CONCEPT PACKAGING STUDY
Women’s Everyday Fragrance Packaging Direction
An illustrative packaging direction showing how a recognizable perfume bottle, coordinated components, decoration and a retail box can be developed into one practical presentation for a growing fragrance brand.
CONCEPT EXAMPLE — NOT A CLIENT CLAIM
PROJECT FRAME
The direction this concept is designed to explore
This is a planning example rather than a completed customer order. It demonstrates the information and decisions normally considered before sampling and quotation.
DESIGN DECISIONS
Building the packaging around the bottle
The goal is not to make every component visually compete. The bottle remains the center, while the cap, sprayer, decoration and box support one coherent market direction.

01 — BOTTLE SELECTION
Start with a versatile bottle shape
A recognizable bottle with balanced proportions provides a practical base for color, logo and component coordination without requiring new glass mold development.
- Capacity: selected according to the product line
- Neck finish: must match the chosen sprayer
- Glass appearance: clear, softly colored or project-specific

02 — COMPONENT MATCHING
Coordinate the cap, sprayer and collar
The visible metal color, cap material and overall proportion should support the bottle rather than feel like unrelated parts sourced separately.
- Fit: verified with the actual bottle neck
- Finish: coordinated metal and cap colors
- Assembly: confirmed through physical samples

03 — DECORATION
Add color and restrained brand details
Spray coating can build the main color direction, while screen printing or hot stamping can add the brand name and selected details where technically suitable.
- Color: confirmed by reference and sample
- Logo: vector artwork preferred
- Coverage: evaluated according to bottle geometry

04 — PACKAGING BOX
Translate the bottle direction into the box
The box structure, insert, color and print treatment should protect the product and carry the same visual language without creating unnecessary complexity.
- Structure: selected for bottle size and protection
- Insert: evaluated for secure positioning
- Surface: printing and finishing confirmed by sample
COMPLETE PACKAGING SYSTEM
Five parts, one coordinated direction
Each part has its own technical requirements, but the customer should experience them as one packaging system.

Shape, capacity, neck and glass appearance.
Cap
Material, fit, color and proportion.
Sprayer
Compatible structure and metal finish.
Decoration
Coating, screen printing or hot stamping.
Box
Structure, insert, artwork and finish.
SAMPLE CONFIRMATION
What should be checked before bulk production?
A concept becomes commercially usable only after physical compatibility and visual details are confirmed through the agreed sample process.
Bottle & Components
Neck finish, sprayer fit, cap fit, assembly and visible proportion.
Color & Finish
Color direction, coverage, transparency, frosting or metallic effect.
Logo & Position
Artwork size, printing position, readability and production tolerance.
Box Structure
Internal dimensions, insert, closure, protection and print result.
Packing Method
Individual protection, carton arrangement and shipment requirements.
Final Specification
Confirmed products, quantities, finishes, artwork and commercial terms.

CONCEPT OUTCOME
A practical direction ready for project evaluation
The result is not a fixed off-the-shelf package. It is a coordinated starting point that can be adjusted according to the selected bottle, available components, quantity, budget and target market.
- Bottle remains the visual center
- Components follow one color direction
- Decoration supports brand recognition
- Box design completes the presentation
